INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Even though it’s technically spring, winter has decided to make another appearance.
TODAY: Showers will be possible at times during the day. Some areas may pick up a dusting to a light coating. The winds will be strong and can sometimes blow up to 30 mph. A cold air mass over the Great Lakes is keeping temperatures from rising too high this afternoon. Highs remain in the upper 30s, about 20 degrees below normal for this time of year.
TONIGHT: A few showers persist in the early evening. Otherwise, the sky becomes partly cloudy late. It remains chilly with temperatures dropping into the mid-20s.
SUNDAY: The sun returns and stays for the end of the weekend. It remains cold with highs in the lower 40s. Winds remain strong at certain times of the day from the northwest.
MONDAY: We will see a dry start to the working week with temperatures slowly climbing into the low to mid 40s.
8 DAY FORECAST: A system is coming in and brings us a good chance of rain for the middle of the work week. Scattered showers and even a few thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday as temperatures climb into the 50s. Wednesday and Wednesday evening the bulk of the rain arrives. It can be moderate to heavy at times with 1-2″ possible. A few thunderstorms could occur on Wednesday evening as well as temperatures rising to 70°. Scattered showers continue for the first part of Thursday. Looks like we are drying out but also cooling for the end of next week.
