PM Modi and Amit Shah will visit Gujarat today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat today. At around 10 a.m., the Prime Minister will visit the new multi-specialty hospital in Matushree. He will then address a public program there, after which he will address a seminar of leaders of various cooperatives at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the nano-urea (liquid) plant built by IFFCO in Kalol, built at a cost of around Rs 175 crore.

Lecture by Jamiat Ulema Hind on the Gyanvapi case today

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind is going to hold a big two-day conference starting today. This conference, organized by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (Maulana Mahmood Madani Group) will be held in Deoband today and tomorrow. During the conference, resolutions will be passed after discussing various issues including the current situation in the country. Preparations for the event were finalized on Friday.

Maha: Public hospital nurses will go to Srike today

More than 15,000 nurses from public hospitals in Maharashtra will go on an indefinite strike from today to protest the state’s decision to outsource the recruitment of nurses to a private agency, according to their association. The Maharashtra State Nurses Association (MSNA) had previously called for a two-day strike on May 27-28.

“None of our demands have been met. We are therefore going on an indefinite strike from May 28,” MSNA Secretary General Sumitra Tote said on Friday.

Prez Kovind on day two of his MP visit today

President Ram Nath Kovind has reached Madhya Pradesh for a three-day visit. During his tour, he is due to participate in a health event and also lay the foundation stones for some urban projects, officials said.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangu Bhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan greeted the President upon his arrival at the state hangar at Bhopal Airport. Kovind then left for the Raj Bhawan where he will stay during his visit, officials added.

“He will participate in an Arogya Bharti program on the theme “One-Nation-One-Health-System is The Need of the Hour” at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center here Saturday noon. Later in the evening he will lay the foundation stones of ten urban health facility buildings will be constructed at a cost of Rs 182.10 crore,” an official said.
