N’Golo Kante drops huge Chelsea transfer hint as Thomas Tuchel promise comes true
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has hinted he won’t follow in Jorginho’s footsteps in trying to engineer a transfer exit from the Blues this summer.
Kante, 31, has spent six years plying his trade in Chelsea blue and winning nearly every trophy available since completing his 2016 comeback from then-Premier League champions Leicester City. With Jorginho linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus in the summer, any move could leave Chelsea in some sort of tough spot. We already know the amount of investment needed at the back with players like Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso set to take on new challenges in La Liga this summer.
Therefore, hearing the 31-year-old Premier League star drop the biggest hint yet that he will stick around for 2022/23 with a year left to run on his contract after this season will come as music to the ears. ears of Chelsea manager Tuchel.
