Back to heavy air this weekend – WISH-TV | Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather forecast

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Today the temperature has improved nearly light years with much less humidity and near average temperatures. We are looking to end the work week on a warm note before the wet counter gradually returns this weekend.

Thursday evening: A comfortable night will be on deck under mostly clear skies. Lows will slide into the 60s.

Friday: We maintain the trend of abundant sunshine until our Friday with slightly above average temperatures expected. Although it is warm with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s, the humidity levels are going to stay low.

Weekend: Slightly warmer conditions seem to be setting in for our Saturday. Cloud cover and humidity will gradually increase throughout the day. Highs are expected to reach the 90s. We cannot rule out occasional thunderstorms late Saturday. Sunday presents a transition point in this forecast as we see an approaching front. This will increase the chances of rain and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Severe weather is still not expected at this time for Sunday.

8-day forecast: Sunday’s front will bring a refreshing air into next week’s picture. Monday is shaping up to be a fantastic start to the new work week with highs in the 80s. A gradual warm up will then creep into the middle of next week.
