Owen on Positivity
Michael Owen has claimed Arsenal fans should be positive about how the club is doing at the minute.
Speaking on BT Sport, Owen said: “It’s the most positive thing I would be if I was an Arsenal fan for a long time.
“They’re missing some good players, but they look like, like tonight, they can go to big places now and fight a bit more. They’ve been bullied a lot of times.
“If you watched them at the start of the season, I was there against Brentford and that was the Arsenal of the last few years. But now they have some steel about them.”

Ferdinand’s Verdict
Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand has claimed Arsenal won’t finish in the top four this season because they don’t score enough goals.
Speaking to BT Sport, he said: “Goals. Aubameyang left, not that he was hitting them when he was there, but he was a great player, the captain.
“I love Mikel Arteta and what he’s trying to do there. Arsenal, a great story, but in recent years they haven’t shown you anything that will convince you that they’re going to be consistent enough to get into the top four.”

Martinelli red ‘hard’
Former Premier League referee Mark Halsey has claimed Gabriel Martinelli’s red card in Arsenal’s win over Wolves was harsh.
“Gabriel Martinelli’s quick red card against Wolves was tough,” he told CaughtOffside.
“The Arsenal striker was first booked for pushing Daniel Podence as he took a throw-in.
“Then five seconds later, Martinelli fouled Wolves winger Chiquinho, denying him a promising attack.
“The referee, Michael Oliver, was right in law to issue two warnings at the same time for two infractions, but I think he should have handled the incidents better than he did for a referee of his caliber.”
