INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Highs will climb back into the lower 90s again, but temperatures look to be climbing near 100. Chances of showers are possible for the next few days. Relief from high heat and humidity is on the way.
TODAY: There is a small chance that some points will start again with scattered fog this morning. Otherwise, the sky becomes partly cloudy today. It’s going to be incredibly hot with highs in the lower 90s. High humidity will feel like it’s in the upper 90s to 100s. Showers and scattered thunderstorms will be possible during the afternoon.
TONIGHT: A few showers or thunderstorms in the early evening could persist in the region. It’s going to be balmy and sultry again, with lows only falling into the lower and mid 70s.
MONDAY: High humidity persists for Monday. We will see a better chance for a scattered shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon. Skies become partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s. Looks like the temperatures are climbing into the 90s.
TUESDAY: A cold front is moving through the region giving us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will also drop temperatures and humidity.
8 DAY FORECAST: We finally have a break from the high heat and humidity. Temperatures drop into the low to mid-80s. Humidity values drop and it feels much more comfortable statewide. It remains dry with partly to mostly sunny skies for the rest of the week.
