FANS of NBC’s new music competition have gone crazy for K-Pop star AleXa, who performed in Monday’s season premiere.

The first episode of NBC’s American Song Contest aired on Monday, and fans loved the American version of the famous Eurovision Song Contest.

Pop star AleXa represented Oklahoma with a rendition of her original song Wonderland, featuring backup dancers and impressive choreography.

The singer’s fans took to Twitter to share their reactions to the song, with some even calling it “the best performance never.” Other fans declare AleXa as the clear winner of the competition.

Host Kelly Clarkson was stunned by the performance, saying she “brought the house down”.

The competition will take place over eight weeks, before a final on May 9.

Musicians from all 50 states, five surrounding territories and Washington, DC will participate in the competition.
